p.104 Herb JarsGreen Diamond herb jars labelled Curry and Bay, with a colour variation.
These jars must have been trial designs that never went into full production as they did not appear in the advertising brochures and are rarely seen.

p.104 'Blue' DiamondA close-up of the 'Blue' Diamond variation.
It can be seen that apart from the previously unknown 'curry' and 'bay' designs, the colouration is much bluer than the conventional Green Diamond pattern. The glaze is also slightly creamier and silk-matte.

p.107 Triple CruetTriple ‘slimline’ cruet (in Peach Bloom and Seagull) with ceramic tops, compared to the similar shape with plastic tops (in Sepia and Mushroom).
These pots are less common than the ones with plastic tops. The Seagull mustard pot lid was missing and a Mushroom lid is shown here.

p.107 Triple CruetThe triple cruet with the rare large mustard pot on the correct design of stand.
The stand for this set has ridges dividing each segment and is larger than the usual triangular stand and was shown in the Poole brochure for 1975. This stand is Mushroom, although Dove Grey would be the correct colour to match the Sky Blue cruet set.

p.108 Coffee PotGuy Sydenham’s ‘New Stoneware’ coffee pot in Pampas glaze from 1967.
Each piece in this set was thrown, carved and glazed by Alan White and Angela Wyburgh and it was also made in a green glaze called Serpentine. Height 8½-in. (22cm).

p.112 RamekinA ramekin dish from the Ovenware set with Country Manor design. 
 It is possible this design was made to match the Red Tango variation of the Flair shape.

p.114 Fruit BowlConcert Harmonies salad or fruit bowl glazed in New Seagull on the outside and a bright Sunshine Yellow on the inside.
The advertising material does not show this colourway at all, so it may have been a trial that did not reach full production. 8½-in. (21.5cm) diameter.

p.120 Dorset FruitsUPDATE:A variation of Dorset Fruits has recently been seen depicting a strawberry and a blue flower, although it does not appear in the advertising material. It has a 1991 ‘Studio Design’ mark. |
